Throwback Easter Outfit

Grammy kept Brandon's Easter outfit from '81 and here it is in 2011. Levi looked adorable in his daddy's outfit. He also loved this ducky from Grammy that sings and flaps his wings.

"I'm a big boy now!"

Levi has gotten to be such a big boy from trying to ride bikes to sliding down slides by himself. Its so fun to watch him be big. We are so proud of him.

Easter Cousins

Levi loved his Easter egg hunt with his cousins at the preschool. It was such a fun afternoon.

"Mama B"

We had a sweet visit this Easter from our families and we were so glad to have Mama here as well. We decided since Levi calls me Mama that we would call her Mama B. Levi enjoyed his time with Mama B and he loved when she sang and read to him. We love her very much.

An Easter Goodbye

Yesterday was a special day at our church. It was the last sermon for our pastor Mike Queen. Mike married us and dedicated our son. He is a very special person in our lives and we will miss him dearly as the pastor of our church. He is retiring after 25 years of service at our church. What a wonderful way to leave on such a holy day.

Easter Morning

How sweet are my searsucker boys? Brandon was so proud that he learned how to tie a bow tie this weekend. He says he is now officially a "Wilmingtonian." And I always love an excuse to wear a big hat!

Egg Hunt # 2

We went to a friends hunt on Saturday and a good friend of ours came out in this bunny costume. Quite a hit with the adults, scared some of the kiddos. I love his look in this last picture... trying to plan his strategy for picking up his eggs.

Let the Egg Hunts Begin

Easter was a special time this year. Levi got more excited about eggs as the hunts continued. Levi has been going to a music class on Wednesdays and we had an egg hunt this week.

Big Truck and New Grass

Last week we had a major renovation on our yard. Levi was really excited because it brought trucks and tractors. One morning I literally pulled him from his crib as soon as he woke up and took him outside in his pj's to see this big truck. He was really impressed.

A visit with the Spillars Family

This weekend we had the delight of spending the weekend with Megan, Michael, Conner, and Greyson. We had such a good time. Levi and I got to know the "babies" as Levi called them and Brandon got to golf with his buddies. Megan has been a dear friend of mine for more than half of our lives. It is now so fun to being raising boys together. We can't watit to see them again soon.

Strawberry Fields Forever

Levi and I had such a fun morning picking strawberries. Levi loved the wagon ride with his buddies. And he loved chasing Emma Miller in the strawberry fields. Lewis Strawberry Farms is one of my favorite things to do in Wilmington so fun to now do it with Levi and soon Olivia will join us!

A Tribute to Papa John

Brandon's Papa passed away last week and we are so sad he is no longer with us. We will always remember him and we promise to always teach Levi to love the outdoors. On Saturday he was thinking of him, enjoying the trees, and digging in the dirt. He loves to wear these boots and enjoy the outdcoors.

Azalea Parade

We all went to the parade on Saturday. It was a chilly morning but the kids loved it. Levi loves to wave and say "hey" to people and trucks now. Nothing like trucks and sirens for these boys, it gets them every time!

Papah's Birthday

We had such a great weekend celebrating Papah's weekend. We got to pick Michael up from preschool, one of Levi's favorite things to do. We love living next to the preschool and picking up friends and cousins. We also got to sing happy birthday and celebrate Papah.

Battleship Birthday Party

Levi celebrated his friend Grady's birthday party on the USS NC Battleship. He kept saying "big boat!" He was really impressed. The theme of the party was "pirates." He had a parrot on his shoulder, that was a big hit with the party goers.

Our little girl's name....

Olivia Ann Adams will be here in August and we can't wait to meet her. We got Levi the "Olivia" book to get him ready for his new little sister.

Monkey Joe's

During Gaga's visit Levi got to enjoy Monkey joe's. He loved it. He was trying to jump at home and we thought this place would help. He loved being big in the jump tent. He also loved this fire truck. He loves anything with a wheel. Thanks for a fun afternoon Gaga.
